You guys, this app is truly adorable — as well as it’s free!

Endless Alphabet teaches letters, as well as for those who already understand them, introduces words. The animations are full of charming monsters (not frightening at all!) as well as quirky sounds. I like the artwork which will charm to both genders.

I cannot vouch for the efficacy of the technique by which spelling is taught. (Anything that comes out of LeapFrog, for example, is rigorously designed for genuine learning, while lots of people just like to put out games with A, B, Cs embedded in them, based on no academic research.) however I don’t believe it can hurt.
